7 October: Philip Clouts Quartet

“Great musicians of World Jazz”

The Philip Clouts Quartet makes its Oxford debut at Jazz at St Giles. They have been highly acclaimed across the UK wherever they have played. We are looking forward to a stimulating and worthwhile evening!

Profits from the concert will be used towards St Giles’ fundraising for a new organ.

Playing a set of original jazz pieces with inspirations from around the world, the Philip Clouts Quartet pay homage to the exuberance of some of the great pianist/composers including South Africans Abdullah Ibrahim and Chris McGregor, Caribbean virtuoso Michel Camilo, quirky New Orleans maestro Dr John, and the Gospel-infused greatness of Keith Jarrett.
