What difference will your gift make?

Director of Music: Andrew Patterson ARCO

We are a small, city centre parish church, with big ambitions for our impact and a strong history of success. Without the benefit of a large endowment, we are dependent on the generosity of those who share our aspirations to deliver transformational musical opportunities for the people of our city. Any gift – however large or small – makes a critical contribution to our ability to achieve these.

A new organ and improved facilities for the use of young people and their teachers will set the conditions for providing access to the best musical education and experiences, irrespective of background.

The are many ways to donate to the future of St Giles’

You may like to support Music at St Giles’ in general, subscribe to the new organ fund, contribute to ‘Sponsor a Pipe‘ or help us with enhancements to the building.

Any donation, large or small will be welcomed.

Regular Giving:
If you have a bank account, a standing order is the best way to give regularly to St Giles’.

You don’t have to remember to pay each month, and it helps us to plan our budget. You decide how much you want to give, and when you want to give it. This is by far the most efficient way of regular giving and it is easy to start. Standing order form Download

Gift Aid:
If you are a UK taxpayer, every £1 you give is worth £1.25 because St Giles’ Church can reclaim from the government the tax paid on the money you give. This is at no cost to you.

A £5,000 gift over 36 months would become £6,250 with Gift Aid.

N.B. If you are a higher rate taxpayer you can claim a personal tax benefit, which means every £1 you give will cost you only 75p. To enable us to reclaim the tax and increase the value of our gift you need to download and complete the Gift Aid Declaration.
